# How your pact works

**Version 2026-09-05.1**

These terms govern the TestFlight beta of pushpact.

## Your personal pact

Any authenticated TestFlight beta tester may create one personal pact. A pact has fourteen local-calendar days. Your phone-detected IANA timezone is shown before you save a card and is locked for that pact. Before saving your card, you choose whether Day 1 starts today or at your next local midnight. If you choose today, Day 1 ends at that midnight. If you choose tomorrow, Day 1 starts at that midnight.

Choose at least 10 pushups per day, with no maximum, and a whole-dollar daily stake from $1 through $100. Saving your card costs $0 today. Your maximum exposure is 14 × your daily stake: no more than one charge can be made for each missed day.

Your front camera counts pushups on your iPhone using on-device 3D pose analysis. No video is uploaded. During the beta, pushpact keeps numeric pose measurements from your sets on your phone and sends compact placement and correction summaries to pushpact; pushpact may retain owner-scoped numeric evidence for a refused or reviewed set. Nothing includes images or video. You can delete this under You.

## Misses and charges

When a day ends short of your number, your daily stake is charged once to your saved card. You are told afterward. You can flag any charged day in the app; a flag sends your set data to pushpact for a person to look at and does not stop or reverse the charge on its own. Refunds are at pushpact's discretion.

A hit is not chargeable. You may quit in the app; quitting makes the current eligible day and every later day non-chargeable, while a day whose grace period has already ended may still be charged once.

Receipts identify the applicable pact day. A refund, if approved, is tied to that same charge and is processed once. You may dispute a charge through the receipt and support path; pushpact keeps the billing facts required to handle the receipt, refund, and dispute.

## Test build, retention, and money

This TestFlight beta uses only simulated Stripe TEST charges. Never enter a real card. A Stripe TEST card cannot move real funds, and no real funds move in this beta. No player receives money from another player. A simulated charge, if a missed day is charged, is recorded only from the player to pushpact for the verification service.

Account deletion removes player-facing access while required billing, dispute, and audit records are retained. It does not erase a valid completed charge, its receipt, or records needed to resolve a refund or dispute.

By saving your card, you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these terms.
