How your pact works
The complete current terms are reproduced below and are also bundled inside the app for offline access.
# How your pact works **Version 2026-09-22.1** These terms govern your use of pushpact. pushpact is operated by Crixlet, LLC. This version applies to every pact that starts while it is current and charges real money. Pacts started under an earlier version keep the terms shown when that card was saved. **Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this service in any manner.** ## Your personal pact Any authenticated player may create one personal pact. A pact has fourteen local-calendar days. Your phone-detected IANA timezone is shown before you save a card and is locked for that pact. Before saving your card, you choose whether Day 1 starts today or at your next local midnight. If you choose today, Day 1 ends at that midnight. If you choose tomorrow, Day 1 starts at that midnight. Choose at least 10 pushups per day, with no maximum, and a whole-dollar daily stake from $1 through $100. Saving your card costs $0 today. Your maximum exposure is 14 × your daily stake: no more than one charge can be made for each missed day. Your front camera counts pushups on your iPhone using on-device 3D pose analysis. No video is uploaded. The camera and pose pipeline never sends images or video; only numbers leave your phone. ## Real money, automatic charges, and refunds pushpact (Crixlet, LLC) charges real money in US dollars. Never enter a card you do not own or are not allowed to use. When a day ends short of your number, your daily stake is charged once to your saved card. The charge is made automatically after that day's one-hour grace period ends, without you present and without a separate confirmation from you. By saving your card, you authorize pushpact to make these charges on your saved card for each missed day of this pact, up to 14 charges, for a total of no more than 14 × your daily stake. You are told afterward by email and, if you turned them on, by notification. You can flag any charged day in the app; a flag sends your set data to pushpact for a person to look at and does not stop or reverse the charge on its own. Refunds are decided by a person at pushpact and processed by hand. A refund, if approved, is tied to that same charge and is processed once. A hit is not chargeable. You may quit in the app; quitting makes the current eligible day and every later day non-chargeable, while a day whose grace period has already ended may still be charged once. If your bank declines a charge or requires further authentication that cannot be completed without you, pushpact records the declined charge and does not try again on its own. pushpact does not add fees or interest. Receipts identify the applicable pact day. You may dispute a charge through the receipt and support path; pushpact keeps the billing facts required to handle the receipt, refund, and dispute. ## What pushpact keeps pushpact keeps your email address, your pact settings, each day's credited count, compact numeric summaries of each set's placement, counting and corrections, your claims, day flags, receipts, and the Stripe customer, card-setup, and payment identifiers needed to make and refund charges. Stripe collects your card details in its own payment sheet; pushpact does not receive your full card number or CVC. If you choose to upload a profile picture, pushpact keeps that picture until you replace it or delete your account. On an App Store install, pushpact collects compact numeric summaries of each set and records no raw pose streams. On a TestFlight install, pushpact also keeps numeric pose measurements from your sets on your phone and may send owner-scoped numeric evidence to pushpact for a refused or reviewed set; you can delete this under You. App Store builds send product analytics and crash reports to pushpact's analytics provider as described in the privacy policy. None of this includes camera images or video. Account deletion removes player-facing access while required billing, dispute, and audit records are retained. It does not erase a valid completed charge, its receipt, or records needed to resolve a refund or dispute. Deleting your account stops future days the same way quitting does; a day whose grace period has already ended may still be charged once. ## Money moves one way No player receives money from another player. Every charge, if a missed day is charged, is recorded only from the player to pushpact for the verification service. pushpact does not run simulated or test charges under this version of these terms. By saving your card, you confirm that you are 18 or older, that the card is yours to use, that you authorize the automatic charges described above, and that you accept these terms.
